End-of-Life Book Club Accepting New Members
An End-of-Life Book Club focused on dying, death, grief and the afterlife will have its second meeting on Sunday, March 23, 2-3:30PM, at the upstairs room over the Berkshire Food Coop, 34 Bridge Street, Great Barrington, MA. People of all ages and situations are welcome.
It will meet on the fourth Sunday of the month for at least the next four months. A variety of books will be considered including non-fiction, fiction and a graphic memoir. The next book will be Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant? by Roz Chast, a long-time cartoonist for the New Yorker Magazine. It is available through the C/W MARS system at any Berkshire library.
The group will be led by Bess Dillman, death doula and founder of Berkshire End-of-Life Network and Carol McGlinchey, past life regression therapist. “This is a space for respectful and candid sharing of our personal experiences along with our thoughts on those of the book authors’. Join this group for an opportunity to widen your knowledge as you delve into a subject that is not often talked about but is a part of everyone’s life.”
Anyone wishing to join, please contact Elizabeth Dillman, elizabeth.dillman@gmail.com or 413-528-7974 to register or for more information.
