This year, like many events we look forward to, Annual Meeting will be a bit different.
Because we can’t gather as a Co-op community as we usually do, we’ll be having our Annual Meeting on Zoom this year! We’re excited to try something new and we hope you are too.

This year’s Annual Meeting speaker is Harriet Behar!
For almost 40 years, Harriet Behar has been an organic educator and inspector—visiting thousands of organic operations. She formerly chaired the National Organic Standards Board, the volunteer entity under the US Dept. of Agriculture responsible for establishing organic regulations, where among other things she led efforts to better guard against GMO contamination of organic products. Since 1989, Harriet and her husband have managed a certified organic farm and commercial operation, growing bedding plants, vegetables, herbs and small grains, as well as producing eggs and honey. She was one of the earliest staff members of CROPP Cooperative/Organic Valley where she helped to guide the cooperative through the challenges of growth and researched and developed many of the new products. She has also worked with federal, state and organic certification regulatory agencies on nutritional and organic labeling.

How is this Zoom thing going to work?
You can attend on your computer and see the Board and presenters while they talk, or you’ll be able to call in on a phone and hear what’s going on if you prefer that.
If you haven’t given us an updated email address already, call the store or talk to a cashier when you visit us next! Both voting for our Board of Directors and Annual Meeting registration will be through email.
